Chris DeAngelo is the former star linebacker for the Detroit Devils. DeAngelo came under suspicion for man slaughter after two accidents that resulted in the deaths of Dallas Aztecs RB Pete Washington and Las Vegas Aces QB Kyle Foster. In 1985 DeAngelo is originally found guilty of manslaughter charges however both counts are overturned by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and later the Supreme Court. He stayed in prison for a 18 year sentence, and was released in 2003. He now is retired.
